The very first game I played that was first person shooter was Halo. After I got over the SIFI part of it I moved onto Call of Duty aka COD. That was more realistic than Halo. COD comes out about every 6 months, the developers create new maps. I think the majority of people who buy it specifically buy it to play online. I don’t even play the actual game anymore, I only play online.
I will find 2 or 3 maps that I end up favoring over the rest. Usually the smaller maps or the ones I can camp with my sniper rifle. Camping means you sit in the same spot for a long period of time. I don’t really camp, I just stay in that spot until I get my first kill, then I move. Real campers stick to the same spot the entire game, even when they get killed and respawn somewhere else they run to that spot and sit there again.
Recently call of duty released new maps with new character features… that I don’t like at all. They added these jetpack things to the shoes of your character. You can jump really high and leap to different areas of the map with speed to avoid being killed and/or kill your opponent.
Why don’t I like this feature? I’m honestly not sure why I don’t like it but many other plays feel the same way. It’s just different from what we’re used to and I think it takes away the realistic feel of the game. The maps they also created for this version I built so that you have places to jump high too… every map. So every map your strategy needs to be somewhere up high, that is where everyone else will eventually be. This takes away the ability to have a good variety of maps, I don’t even have a favorite map for this version of COD and that’s a first for sure.
I still play it, but I’m eager for the newer one to come out. I think maybe it did already and I just haven’t have time to go out and get it? I’m going to have to go look into that fact once I post this…
I never forgot the day I heard a guy talking about Testosterone Pills for Men called TestoGen, he was using his headset so the entire team heard the conversation. He was slightly embarrssd. Honestly… you would be shocked at the things we tend to hear from out teammates when they forget we are listening…
